Organic extra virgin olive oil
Premium Organics’ Arbequina Extra Virgin olive oil is a superior quality oil, obtained directly from olives and only by mechanical processes.
Early harvested oil is recommended to be consumed within three months after opening.
The “Arbequino” is a fresh, lively and expressive oil, with an aftertaste of green tomato and fresh grass. Its subtle and harmonious flavour makes it ideal both to be served raw and for use in various cooking techniques, such as frying and baking.
The oil is produced from Olives from the 30 hectare olive grove of Los Bermejales farm, located in the area of Cerro Martos, Andalusia.
Los Bermejales has 8,000 olive trees. The mill for extracting the oil is located within the farm, so that no more than 4 hours pass from harvesting to cold extraction.
To keep the fragrance fresh, this extra virgin olive oil is always extracted to a maximum of 24 degrees.
The owner of Los Bermejales is Mr. Aquilino Castaño Solís, and it is he, along with his daughter Patricia and the master taster, who carry out the tasting. All three are responsible for ensuring the expected high quality after cold extraction.
At Los Bermejales farm cultivation is carried out according to organic farming standards.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Green with golden hues.
Bouquet: Intense green fruitiness.
Palate: Fresh olive fruitiness, hints of green almond (Alloza) and tomato.
Aftertaste: Persistence and harmony with a good balance of bitterness and spiciness.
