Organic extra virgin olive oil
Premium Organics’ Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a superior quality oil, obtained directly from olives and only by mechanical processes.
This early harvested oil is recommended to be consumed within three months after opening.
This Coupage is elaborated with native varieties from the inland area of Alicante mountains. Obtained from the mixture of the Villalonga, Blanqueta, Alfafarenca and Changlot Real varieties, this pure, full-bodied, low acidity olive juice is ideal for use in all kinds of raw foods.
Its colour is greenish, characteristic of green olive, its appearance is dense and its medium-high fruity aroma conveys both vegetable and herbaceous notes.
It is a well-balanced oil. It is sweet on the palate, and possesses a mild bitterness and spiciness, evoking freshly cut grass, olive leaf and green apple nuances.
This Coupage is made from the best olives from the approximately 16,000 olive trees, many of which are over a 100 years old, which the Ferrando family has been tending to for three generations. The peculiarity of these olive groves is that they are grown on terraces on the slopes of the Vall de Travadell, at 650 metres above sea level.
The mill to extract the oil belongs to the family, thus making it not more than 3 or 4 hours from harvest to cold extraction.
The Ferrando family has been producing its own organic olive oil for more than 20 years.
